Eric Spivey

Dr. Eric Spivey serves as senior pastor of Vestavia Hills Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, and as a Pinnacle Leadership Associate. His ministry has been shaped by three decades of congregational leadership in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and now Alabama. He has a continuing curiosity about what helps congregations remain vital and faithful in a changing world. As a coach, Eric enjoys working with pastors as they clarify their calling, navigate adaptive change, and take the next steps for themselves and their congregations. He brings the perspective of both a practicing lead pastor and a coach who walks alongside other clergy to his work with PLA.
